Barolo in the Fog
Oct 18 at 9:00 AM
La Morra, Piedmont
About This Event
Nebbiolo is the most site-sensitive grape in Italy, and the only way to understand that is to stand in the vineyards. Over four days we walk Cannubi, Brunate, and Ginestra with the people who farm them, then taste the same vintage from each site out of cask.
Between visits the group eats where the growers eat: long lunches in La Morra and Monforte, a truffle dinner in Alba, and one late night in a cellar that has never had a tasting room.
Numbers are capped at twelve so every visit stays a conversation rather than a tour.
