About This Wine
Few sparkling wines are as singular as Leclerc Briant Château d’Avize. It’s one of the rare single-vineyard Champagnes, which contributes to a unique sense of terroir in a region known for cuvées. That’s not all. This blanc de blancs contains 100% chardonnay picked exclusively from top vineyards.
The 2013 vintage marks only the second release of Leclerc Briant Château d’Avize under chef de cave Hervé Jestin. Lemon and floral notes permeate the nose, with citrus and savory elements swirling amid a bubbly body. While this Champagne is delicate, it should hold up well to a decade of cellaring.
