Vilmart & Cie Coeur de Cuvée displays the elegance and luxuriousness of Montagne de Reims. The Premier cru site yields world-class chardonnay and pinot noir. With only 8,500 cases produced annually, the limited supply of Coeur de Cuvée is in constant demand.
True to the Vilmart & Cie style, the 2013 vintage represents the estate at the peak of its powers. Like all of their cuvées, Couer de Cuvée comes from fruit exclusively grown and produced by Vilmart & Cie with the result marrying ripeness and acidity to form a perfect harmony. With a palatable tension that lingers through the finish, this tête de cuvée soars above its competition.
Even in youth, 2013 Vilmart Coeur de Cuvée has an open and friendly personality. The expressiveness of the 80 chardonnay and 20 pinot noir shines through from start to finish. Notes of citrus, green apple, and freshly baked brioche form a wave of aromas that grabs the attention and refuses to let go. The luxurious mousse-like finish serves as the perfect coda from one of the finest producers in Champagne.
