About This Wine
Beware of PDA because this wine is flirting with perfection. Domaine du Pegau Châteauneuf-du-Pape Inspiration has a stunning nose of cassis, blackberries, and red currants framed by licorice, tar, pepper, smoked meats, and spice. The body has a powerful personality, coating the taste buds with concentrated flavors and fine tannins. The only problem is that Domaine du Pegau produces this red wine in limited batches. Wine critic Andre Brunel gave the 2003 vintage a 100-point rating, calling it "one of the greatest wines I have ever tasted."
