About This Wine
No American wine is more highly regarded than Screaming Eagle. As California's original cult winery, it sells hyper-limited quantity wines for $3,000+ per bottle. Screaming Eagle took flight in 1992 when wine critic Robert Parker gave the first vintage a 99. He would later give the Bordeaux-style red blend six perfect ratings. In 2000, a bottle from the debut vintage sold for $500,000, setting the record for the most expensive wine.
